We stayed in Sydney for 2 nights. It was our 37th wedding anniversary. It was a great position. We like walking, riding on the train and wandering about the general area. The location was great for this. The eating options were many.
The room had a musty smell. The floors may have been steamed, but it took a bit of getting used to. We felt we got value for money because it wasn't expensive, but I think I would spend more to get something 'fresher' next time.
The staff was friendly and professional and very willing to help. The hotel was a good value.
I wish there were ice dispensers in the hotel rather than having to get ice from the adjacent bar/restaurant.
location the pub and convenience parking close by and neat
well questioned about that 2 guys wante a double bed room and well leaking tap was a bit of a worry
your buffet breakfast
We were dissapointed, and usually stay at one of the Meriton hotels. The tariff of $218 inc b'fast is not on comparison with luxury of Meriton Group. We will not be staying with you in furture and will be passing on our comments to our associates here in Canberra
The best things were the shower, location and we got parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing, over rated, certainly not up to 4* UK standard.
The overall value was poor. The garden room we thought we had booked did not exist ! It was a corner dark room on the third floor overlooking an unkept garden with walls in bad need of a coat of paint. Disappointing.
The staff are sooooo helpful!!! They helped us to book tour introduce the city! And they never turn down your request!
The location is poor, the nearest bus station is 5 mins away and only prrpaid bus there, you need to walk another 5 mins to buy a bus ticket at convenience store.
Where it was, surrounded by cafes
No easy chair in room, rooms small
The pool area was a nice get away from the busy city
The location of the hotel was exactly where I needed to be. Everything I needed was there.
fabulous position, close to bookshops, Paddy's market, galleries, all that Oxford St area offers. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We had a garden room which was away from the street and quiet.
It was clean and neat and had all the necessary equipment and the staff were friendly.
The fridge was extremely noisy during the night.
The hotel was clean and the staff very good for tourists (helpful and polite). Nice sunny room. The free internet was a good bonus, and the reason we actually chose this hotel.
Stingy with towels (only 1). I really would have appreciated a hand towel. A small peeve, there was no shampoo. As a tourist I find this is often something I forget to pack, and always something I leave behind because it is too heavy to lug on international trips. If the hotel is eco-conscious, a squeeze tube attached to the wall (as their hand soap was) would have sufficed.
Friendly staff. Close enough to the main attractions in the city.
The room that we got was tired and needed a new carpet. Kettle was rusty.
Great place to stay as in walking distance to clothing labels we needed to see.
